1. Information we collect

We collect the information you give us and a limited amount of technical information needed to run the service:

• Account information — your name, email address, and whether you sign up as a customer or a skilled worker.
• Profile information — for skilled workers, this can include your photo, bio, trades and specialties, years of experience, whether you have a truck or tools, and your general work area and travel radius.
• Job information — job titles, descriptions, photos, plans, budgets, and the address where the work will happen.
• Messages — the messages you send to the other party through the in-app chat.
• Identity information — when identity verification is enabled, information used to confirm you are who you say you are.
• Technical information — basic device and usage information, and a stored preference for your chosen language.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Operate the marketplace — create your account, show jobs, and match customers with nearby skilled workers.
• Enable communication between a customer and the skilled worker they hire.
• Arrange payment. During beta, payment is handled manually by e-Manual Labor after a job is approved (see our Terms & Conditions).
• Support safety and trust, including identity verification and reviews.
• Improve the service and respond to your questions.

3. How we share information

We share only what is needed to make the marketplace work. When you post or take a job, the other party sees the information relevant to that job — for example, a customer sees an applicant’s profile and reviews, and a hired worker sees the job details and location. We use trusted service providers (such as our hosting and database provider) to run the service, and we may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data storage and security

Your information is stored with our hosting and database provider and protected with reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.

5. Your choices and rights

You can review and update your account information in the app. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting us at the email below. Some information may be retained where we are required to keep it or need it to resolve disputes.

6. Location information

We use the addresses you enter (for a job or a worker’s work area) to place jobs on a map and match them to nearby skilled workers. You control the addresses you provide.

7. Children’s privacy

e-Manual Labor is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service grows out of beta. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here.
